Sunday 1st December

      

• ​Sky Greats (Satellite 304 - Glass/Stream 304) renames to SkyFavourites / Favourites HD (temporary change)
• ​Sky Hits (Satellite 308 - Glass/Stream 308) changes name to Sky 80s / Sky 80s HD (temporary change)

Monday 2nd December 2024

• Nick Jr Peppa (Satellite 613 - Glass/Stream 207 Glass) renames to Nick Jr. Too

• Nick SpongeBob (Satellite 605 - Glass/Stream 205) renames to NickToons

• Sky Epics (Satellite 302 - Glass/Stream 302) swaps with Sky Christmas (Satellite 303 - Glass/Stream 303)

Friday 6th December 2024

• Sky Family (Satellite 306/850 - Glass/Stream 306) renames to Sky Kids Books and SkyKidsBooksHD (temporary change)

Wednesday 4th December 2024

• Clubland TV launches to 354 on Sky Glass/Stream in the UK only - channel already exists on satellite
• NOW 70s launches to 355 on Sky Glass/Stream in the UK only - channel already exists on satellite
• NOW 80s launches to 356 on Sky Glass/Stream in the UK only - channel already exists on satellite
• NOW XMAS launches to 357 on Sky Glass/Stream in the UK only - channel already exists on satellite
• NOW ROCK launches to 358 on Sky Glass/Stream in the UK only - channel already exists on satellite

Monday 9th December 2024

The "Sky TV channels on PlayStation and Xbox" and "Channels available on Sky Go" links needs to be updated. It still has the likes of "ITV Encore" and "TNT Sports", which I think changed into ITVBe.

We don't I'm afraid, the team are still working through the technical problems.

Hi!, So, these were due to launch on November 20th on both Sky Glass and Sky Stream but have been delayed, we are not at December 3rd 2024, so are we any closer to having a date for the launch please?.

I really hope it will not be too long and that they might just be added and that we will get a post or information from Sky to inform us that they have added them.

The five music channels have just arrived on my Sky Stream

The pq does not look that bad either.

Do remember those channels looked pretty poor on Sky Q if I recall correctly.

So assume as other sd channels do, a nice bit of redress with Sky Stream.

Good Morning All

Apologies for the late announcement of the music channels on Glass/Stream as we've been out of the office over the last couple of days.  I'll update the main post 😀

Good to see the new music channels finally appear. 

A question though, and not a dig at NOW at all, but why are all music videos on these channels so poor quality? Even MTV are awful quality. The on screen graphics are also low quality. If these are 'HD' I'll eat my hat. 

Surely HD masters of these videos exist? Especially for new releases! Just something I've never really understood - like The Box back in the day were broadcasting music videos clearly produced in 16:9 but broadcast as a 4:3 video stretched to fill a 16:9 frame. Truly bizarre.
