Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
@tgransden wrote:Also experiencing this issue since yesterday. Hopefully this gets sorted as being able to stream challenge over WiFi was a huge pull as our terristeial TV signal is awful. It does sort itself out after a reboot but obviously don't want to be doing that each ad break!
@tgransden If it does freeze you shouldn't need to reboot, just open any on the on-demand apps then exit the app and it should then unfreeze the live channels. Or as others have suggested when the ad break starts switch over to another channel for 3-4 minutes to avoid the ad break in challenge.

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
Same issue for me. I've noticed that my puck is running software version QS024.012.00P but Sky say the latest firmware is QS024.011.00P on their website. I wonder if this has something to do with the issue.

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
That's a really good spot, I wonder if it's a bug in the firmware update.

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
My sky glass says the current software it's so frustrating I thought I solved it by pausing the channel for 10 mins and watching behind schedule worked for 1st ad break but continued to free afterwards so annoying

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
Just to add that this is happening to my sky stream as well, I have Challenge TV on in the background during the day and it's now feeezing every ad break, always on the Foid Hub adverts for me.
It's getting worse, this started a few weeks ago as just a green line at the top of the screen during ads, and has now progressed to the full freeze each break as described above.

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. I'm so fed up I have a guy coming round on Monday to install an external aerial so I can watch challenge on free view. I'm ditching sky as soon as possible 😡

Re: Challenge channel freezing after an ad-break
If you are still experiencing this issue then it's possible it's fixed in software version QS25. I've been unable to replicate the freezing on challenge issue this week since my stream puck was updated.
