Why does Chrome not connect to this forum?

Using Chrome as a browser using a link to the Sky community from my email notification, I get the following 'privacy' message and it will not connect. If I use FireFox, I get straight through. Why is Chrome blocking me?

Is the date and time correct on your PC ?

What happens if you temporally disable your anti-virus can you then access it ?

@StephenSky  Not having any issues with chrome on this forum.  try deleting your browser cache and try again as you shouldn't get that error message,

Clearing cache made absolutely no difference....

Re: Why does Chrome not connect to this forum?

Ah-ha... time is correct to the second, but, disabling my AVG anti virus (up to date), Chrome bursts back into life!

Re: Why does Chrome not connect to this forum?

Dug in to AVG and there is a feature of 'WebShieild', when I turn it off, Chrome works fine connecting to the forum, though it's not a very satifactory solution. (Especially when it doen't effect FireFox) At least I now know the cause of 'the fault'...

EDIT

Have now worked out how to add this forum as an 'exception' to my AVG anti virus, all well now. Thanks guys for all your help...

Re: Why does Chrome not connect to this forum?

It suddenly started doing this to me a few weeks ago on my phone. So I'm currently accessing it via incognito mode.
