Sky Sports app cookies issue

About 1 week ago when using my Sky Sports app on my IPHONE, I started getting a cookies pop up requesting that I accept all/except essential only/decline. However, despite selecting my option and clicking save and exit, it continues to ask me every single time I click an article/story on the app.

I have tried a numbers of things within the settings, but I just can't fix it. Please can anybody help?

Hi Stuart127,

I've had exactly the same. I only accept essential cookies but about a week ago, every time I opened an article I was asked for my preferences. All I did was delete the app and reinstall it. Seems to have sorted the problem.

Re: Sky Sports app cookies issue

I have tried blocking cookies from 3rd parties and blocking cookies altogether, but I still get the pop ups. Like I said, it just started last week, I know from time to time you do recieve these requests, but it shouldn't be everytime you click on a story.

@Stuart127

Try clearing all your cookies then reboot the device. You will need to have cookies enabled otherwise this popip will still keep appearing as it is a cookie that will store your preference to all/essential message on the device so that the message shouldn't appear again.

All I can suggest is to send an email to Sky apps team to askthem if they have any suggestions, this is their email address - apps@sky.uk
