Not getting confirmation when I win Sky VIP competitions

Hi all. I enter Sky VIP competitions all the time and have been lucky to win a fair few.

I used to get emails to tell me if I had won. But for the last 6-8 months I haven't received those emails and because of this I've missed several events because by the time I've seen within the bookings section of the VIP app, the date has passed. 

My email has stayed the same and I'm inputting it correctly in the competition entries. I hate missing out on these things and don't like the thought of the rewards going to waste like that.  I'm never going to remember to check the app daily (as the cinema tickets especially give only a couple of days notice). 

Anyone else had this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

@Hey_whatsoever  Are you checking all email folders including junk spam etc

i entered a ballot the other day and the entry confirmation email went into the promotion label of my gmail account rather than primary so make sure you're checking all folders

Thanks for the reply - yes, I've been checking my spam folder every couple of days as some things do end up in there randomly even when that email address has landed in my normal inbox before. But definitely not in my spam box either.

Hi I have also just had this happen to me. Noticed that I had won a ballot for concert tickets but have never received an email so now it's too late to claim the tickets.  This would ultimately be a problem as it says you need the winners email with you for the venue. I have checked all my spam/ junk email and nothing there either

I reported this a while ago and it's still happening. We won tickets to a local football match but no email received. I just have to keep checking My Tickets in the app.

Not sure what would happen if we win any of the prizes??

When we first starting entering Sky rewards I received an email when I won, no problem.  Then it stopped all of a sudden

I've checked spam, checked my personal details and nothing has changed

It's never been any different for me. I stopped getting notifications when I first reported it. I haven't changed my email address. I've uninstall and reinstalled the app. I've tried typing in my email address completely from scratch instead of auto fill. I've checked my spam

Sky don't notify me and we missed out on quite a few tickets. I do receive emails from Sky about my account so it's not my email address that's the problem. We went from receiving emails when we had won anything to not receiving any overnight

If you click on days out or cinema trips in the app and bookings you'll know if you've won or not

Thanks for this response however I wouldn't have time to keep checking 

I think what needs addressing is that sky need to take ownership of notifying people when they have won otherwise prizes will go to waste and customers will be disappointed which will reduce the amount of people showing interest in competitions

@Maxsmum19  I keep waiting to win the big prizes almost 8 years and still trying 😁 but the bits I won so far have been good highland wildlife park the osmonds and Disney on ice
