Hi. SKY support suggested I ask my question here... SONOS dropping on SKY wifi. I have 5 SONOS speakers around the home and all connected using wifi to my SKY Broadband Hub which was new August 2022. I also have 1 x Booster 4 which SKY themselves installed.
I have Sky Broadband Superfast but it is not fibre to the home. My average speed is 45 MBPS.
For over 12 months, the SONOS speakers will randomly drop but its mainly noticeable on the kitchen speakers (Play 5 2nd Generation) which happen to be nearest the router; located in the lounge.
SONOS support have been great but they conclude that my wifi network is not good enough and I should install a MESH system (hard wiring them is not practical). They also advise that I do not use the Booster 4 because it is not an access point. SONOS claim the extender is a bad choice to use with SONOS (or anything for that matter) so I have unplugged it.
SONOS have concluded all their setting changes. Has anyone experienced this and resolved the matter using a MESH or access point?
All help appreciated, thank you.

I'm having exactly the same problem.
Always had either Plusnet or BT wifi routers. My Sonos set-up hasn't changed, but since changing to Sky Broadband (and using the Sky router), when connecting various Sonos speakers (so that the ones in the lounge and kitchen play the same music), the Kitchen speakers are out of sync and keep dropping out.
I suspect it's the router, but I had to return my BT router so can't check.
This is enough to make me cancel my Sky Broadband and go back to BT.
