Moving Home

Hi, I will move new home few months later, but I notice new home do not install Master Socket or ONT, it just a Virgin Media Optical Socket, how to arrange engineer to install Master Socket or ONT? I'm using Sky Broadband Superfast Plan, using CAT-5 cable to connect the hub, can I change hub in my new home? Will I need to change the sky broadband plan? Because it can use fibre in my new home.

After booking a Home Move, Sky commissions Openreach to install whatever infrastructure is necessary.  Sky cannot use a Virgin connection.

Yes, and you absolutely should: there's at least a two week lead time.  Note that Virgin to Openreach transition may not be straightforward.

What is the price of installation?

Typically there's no cost to the subscriber.
