Sky Max Pod not connecting

I recently switched to Sky Max and have a new router and a pod. I have finally got the router / sky q and mini boxes working with the minis extending the wifi signal around most of the house. However:

1. I have no wifi settings etc. in My Sky app to check/ change settings

2. The Sky Pod will not connect and just flashes white- I have moved it to different places and always the same. When I follow a link to setup manually via the My Sky app ( Sky page link not direct via My Sky app ) it just tells me there was a Technical Issue and to try later.

Something isn't right/ connected back at my account level ? 
Hoping for some advice.
