The problem I am having is exactly as the original post that is why I posted here:
I'm trying to change my email address associated with my sky id, but whenever I do in the My Sky app when editing My details it says Error, Try again!
There does not seem to be an answer within any of the previous replies.

I am having the exact same problem (type in new email only to be told it's an error). I will shortly be losing this email address so need to change it very soon. Any help would be aporeciated

I've been trying to change the email address within my Sky account many times without success. I will need to change this as I will not have the email address for much longer. I keep getting an error message. Why?

Same problem as previous described by others. The account details area has an option to change email address. I need to change from iCloud to Gmail. It doesn't work. Just gives an error, please try later. STILL. We the public must pay millions to Sky and something as basic as this doesn't work.

So call Sky and they can get it sorted for you. It's not like you can't change the email address at all it's just the online system is a bit broken which prevents you doing it online.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
