Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

I have carried out the procedure of signing out of Netflix on SkyQ using a web browser. Then rebooted Sky Q and it worked!

Netflix not working on minibox

For the last couple of months Netflix will not work on our minibox. It works fine downstairs, all the connections are good and no issues, but it will not connect upstairs, it's just buffering.

I have tried rebooting everything but nothing is working, works fine on the main box.

any suggestions?

Can’t get onto Netflix on sky

Using home button the App on the left side. Clicking Netflix, just get the swirling wheel of doom and Netflix won't load. Fine through the smart TV however

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

The only way I can get Netflix to load is by turning Sky box off at the wall, waiting a minute and then rebooting. Netflix then works for a couple of days before the red circle returns, then I have to repeat procedure. Beginning to think it's all too much hassle. No problem with any other streaming app so surely Sky should be able to fix this.

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Hi. have you tried signing in to Netflix thru a laptop or mobile Ie not Sky then following the below? It's worked for me (and some others here) for a lot longer

Sign Out of device through a Web Browser:

  1. Log into Netflix via the web browser.
  2. Highlight your profile picture (Top right corner).
  3. Click on Account.
  4. Under the Security and Privacy option, click on 'Manage access and devices'.
  5. Select the device name: (it may be called SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box).
  6. Select--> click on the "Sign out" option on the SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box.
  7. Sign out of Neflix on the Q box, start it up, press left and go to the help section to sign out.
  8. Reboot SkyQ box by turning off at the wall or plugging out for 1 minute.
  9. Go to your SkyQ box and launch the Netflix app on your SkyQ box.

Passed the above on to the Mother in Law who was having the same issue and it appears to work for then so far.

Many thanks to whoever posted it first 👍🏻

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

This is still an issue!!
I've tried all the tips in the previous answers but still it's not working!

Think it's time to cancel with Sky and go direct
