Netflix stuck on loading screen

I am trying to access Netflix via SkyQ apps & its stuck on the loading screen.

I have tried:

1. Turn off Sky box by mains, waiting 30 seconds and turning back on again

2. Refreshing apps via 001 Select on Settings

It still is not working.

Any help is appreciated!

but we no longer get any reception for freeview since we upgraded from the old sky box's to skyQ.

Can only get TV reception if we go through teh skyQ box on any TV in the house. disconnect that and we get absolutely nothing. The old aeriel system was turned off, we did have it sorted but it went through teh old sky box system (skyHD+ box's) now we get nothing like that with SkyQ as it does NOT use aerial.

So saying go through your TV iteself is literally a no chance, its not an option.

So whenever netflix starts messing up, we just tend to keep retrying over and over and over again, or launch another app (disney+, AppleTV+<--also started to be a pain as it requests everytime to reinput your details instead of remembering them) carries on and the subscription will be cancelled for that one. Then there is amazon Prime and paramount+ (launching any of these and then coming out and launching netflix can fix the issue).

Thankfully though for the past 2 mths we havent had an issue, it does sometimes launch slower at times. But it is definatly on the service end and not on our end. Just have to wait, oh and at least its free as well as paramount+ for sky customers with full packages. Just netflix does seem to be the better one of the entire lot, followed by disney+ in 2nd.

That must have been a very old HD box you had, the RF aerial input and passthrough hasn't been around for a long time. The box did't use the aerial as such (I'm fairly sure there was no decoder anyway), all of Sky comes through the dish, the Freeview signal was just passed through to your TV via the Sky box.

All you have to do is connect the aerial directly to your TV. You'll need to supply a signal to all other TVs as well.

However this has nothing to do with Netflix (or any of the other apps you mention) as that comes via your broadband connection (not the dish or the aerial). Are none of your TVs a Smart TV? An Amazon Firestick or similar would also suffice.

I suspect your problems are more to do with your broadband and/or WiFi issues although it's difficult to decypher to be honest. Who supplies your broadband?

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

This has only recently started happening and yes like other users it is only with Netflix, other apps are working fine! If Sky have known about this issue since last September why haven't they sorted the promised update to fix things?

Re: Netflix won’t load

Mine is the same, can't get netflix to load even after turning off and, if I do an app refresh (it takes 24 hrs) and then only works a day or two before it won't  load again. Really frustrating, I phone sky and they don't know what's going wrong either. £7.99 a month for nothing, next to useless. Don't hear of any other providers having this issue.
