Re: Rid
Hi @dr147 any unused data more than 12 months old is now removed from your piggybank. Sky notified customers by email in April 2024.

Piggy Bank Rollover
Hi, can someone explain why have sky taken A huge chunk of my piggy bank. Claiming it has expired it has never expired all the time I've had. I dropped my plan down as my piggy bank was massive to save and use up. Makes sense. Now taken big chunk away. Why ???

Re: Piggy Bank Rollover
Never ever told of piggyback expiry rules, do they send warnings to let you know to use before expiry?

Re: Piggy Bank Rollover
So after 04/06/25 any data older than 12 months is being removed as per the new Sky Mobile Piggybank T's and C's. Customers were made aware of this change in the April 2024 price change letters/emails but it's only recently come into effect which may be why quite a few customers have forgotten about it.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
It's wrong as was never agreed when started, but typical of sky that cannot honour any offers or deals. Hence why left TV and will consider leaving phone as well. As deal offers nothing now 4 me now. At the time of Apr last year my father was ill & passed away so wouldn't have been at the top of my priorities. Not that I'm aware of receiving anything.

I’ve lost 437GB data from piggybank without being warned
I had not realised that I would lose piggybank data after a year, (over 400GB) and was sold new contracts on the back of having plenty to top up with. Even if it is in the contract I agreed a year earlier, surely an email to let me know it was going to happen would be polite. I've paid for that data.

@CL60 The information was contained within the April price increase notification you should have received

Re: I’ve lost 437GB data from piggybank without being warned
I should not have been recently sold a cheaper data plan on the back of having plenty to top up with now! Even if they have changed the contracts surely sending out a 'reminder you'll lose if you don't use' email a week before would be helpful and not cause such bad feeling

The agent wouldn't have known how much data you may have been about to put onto the sim.
