Re: I’ve lost 437GB data from piggybank without being warned
The agent told me how much I had in the piggybank and advised me which contracts to take and how much I could roll per month as I am not tech savvy. The call would have been recorded

Re: I’ve lost 437GB data from piggybank without being warned
When was this? If it was before Wednesday of last week the agent provided you with information relevant at the time. The agent would also have expected you to see the correspondence sent out in 2024. Unfortunately the data is now lost. I'm sure you won't be alone in having a surprise decease in data and I agree a further email may have helped.

Check your balance and expired data details
Sign into your Sky Piggybank online or select Roll data in the My Sky app and scroll down to ‘Your Piggybank Activity’.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
Typical sky make offers and deals never stick to or honour them. Anything before the change should stay and a good company would honour . But then from rule change should have 12 month life. As technically I've paid for what they have taken away.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
I called Sky as I missed the communication, and fair enough a lot of data has now gone.
The employee said that if i roll any piggy banked data just before the monthly renewal then it will piggy bank again, does anyone know if that is true as I was under the impression rolled data would not be piggy banked again. Thank you.

Any unused data on your sim will be rolled back into the Piggybank again. That hasn't changed.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
Hi @CS1976 if you roll it all this month then that in theory should start the 12 month clock for all your data.

If you go back up the page to my post from yesterday I did find out from the Sky website how you can check when data is expiring.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
[Removed]. The 289GB of rolled data that disappeared from my account overnight was PAID for prior to the rule change last year, but somehow Sky seem to think they can just take it back. I can understand any roll over from April 24 being limited if that's what they want to do, but why they think they have the right to take back data purchased under a different contract I have no idea. [Removed] I'll probably cancel my TV contract as well because quite frankly after 30 years I am tired of dealing with their antics.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
So I recently lost just over 21GB, not bad much as what i've read here though. Just checked through my emails look for the email title 'Your key information about Sky Mobile' It states the following under a bullet point 'any unused data will be rolled over into a your sky Piggybank at the end of each billing period unless you have an unlimited data plan. You can shoose to redeem this in increments of 1 GB. Accumulated data expires after 12 months.' I must admit I didnt realise this, otherwise I would used it when changed my handset in Jan this year. I'm in agreement with the majority of comments, a heads up should be given by Sky when the data is about to expire - I would love to know just how mcuh money sky makes back from this. #Lessonlearned.

Re: Piggy bank data missing
I HAVE LOST 300+ GB!!… I PHONED SKY TO ENQUIRE ABOUT MY DISAPPEARING DATA LAST WEEK 7/6/05 AND THE OPERATIVE WHO TOOK MY CALL WAS SHOCKED AND KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE EXPIRING DATA RULE. SO IF THEY DONT KNOW HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW!! It's wrong as was never agreed when contract started, but typical of sky that cannot honour any offers or deals. Hence why left TV and will be leaving phone as well. As deal offers nothing now for me . I'm notaware of receiving anything regarding this.. it's very disappointing and rather underhand 👎
