I have linked my new sky id but are not given the option to proceed to entering the activation code in order to register the new SIM card.
i can't get in touch with sky because when you phone the number must be linked to an already existing account.
which is impossible if your new

The link works fine yes thanks.
but again, I go to activate sim, go through the steps and then I'm told account already linked.
but no further forward with the sim being active

Yeah. It's a brand new sky id I have set up for my grandmother.
i just can't seem to get to the page where I am able to input the activation code.
it gets to the screen that says this account is already linked and I can't seem to get anywhere after this point

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
