i stated yesterday that I do not know if it has been passed or not. I was not told anything. Can my message just be escalated to the team please.

Can you confirm if your payment method is in place because if it isn't the messaging team can not issue the refund as you will have to wait on the cheque.

It's not in place but is there no way of me adding my payment method back on? Its just because it's been 4 months already and no sign of the cheque so wondering if I'll ever get it?

As stated the Messaging Team on here won't be able to assist you. I'm afraid you will have to call Sky and see if there is an update from the relevant back office team.
