It's not in place but is there no way of me adding my payment method back on? Its just because it's been 4 months already and no sign of the cheque so wondering if I'll ever get it?

Hello,
I have been waiting on a refund since October as well. It's showing on my account as a refund but haven't received anything yet. I still have the payment method set up. Can someone help with this please.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

Hi I'm still waiting on a credit refund after cancelling my Sky package since November 2924. How long does this normally take. Thank you

Refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection however if your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so it’ll take longer.
If the payment method is still active we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish.
If the payment method has been cancelled you have two options…
1) you can call Sky to get a cheque raised or
2) we can escalate to the Messaging Team who can re-set your payment method.
Let us know on this thread what you want to do but please confirm in your reply it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account and whether the payment method is still active.

ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a dedicated ROI number.

The start will be automated which may try to send you here to the forum or suggest you receiving a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

Yes, I can see the credit. I am not sure if the payment method is still valid.
