My sky q box keeps freezing then just a blue screen

My sky q box for the last 3 days keeps freezing then only showing a blue screen. Its happened 3 times today. I try turning it iff but when I turn it back on the blue screen is still there

Had the exact same problem with mine, the multi room boxes in other rooms seem to be working fine

Same here, started last night with a random crash. Switched off at wall, turn back on & it happens all over again. Even updated software. What's going on?

Same here last few days, watching normally, then freezes, go to another channel and it's blue screen, power down, disconnect, leave for a bit and power back up, all okay, then it happens again, very annoying!!

My TV freezes during an advert.  Then if I change channels it's a blue screen with no sound.  I switch it off at the wall and turn back on it works until an ad again.  How do I sort this.

Same prob for my elderly mother - literally 2 nights running 30th and 31st July at 6:45 pm screen turned blue - each time she's reset box via plug/socket and then all ok ....any ideas what could be causing this? No broadband in her house so sky q doesn't have any links there .- thanks all

Have any others resolved the probllem of the TV screen going blue.  I switch everything off at the wall, wait a few minutes and it comes back on.  However, I have to repeat this procedure a number of times during the day.

Go to Sky .com         Log in 

click on My account and select My Details

scroll down to communications preferences 

locate tailored advertising and services/ profiling 

toggle switch to off.

30th & 31st issues with sky q freezing then blue screen. Had to unplug and restart happened a few times for an hour or so. Is it sky issue or is box on its way out

The issue with the Sky Q freezing during certain adverts (the Sky advert with Jamie Redknapp and Jill Scott has been mentioned) has been reported to Sky yesterday (31 July) and a team are working on it.

I'm having the same issues for the last 2 days. Seems to be during the adverts. Reset works for a while then happens again.

Thanks, I see this. But wanted to point out it's still happening and affecting a number of customers.
