Have you tried this:
Can you try these steps please:
1 - Log into Netflix via the web browser.
2 - Highlight your profile picture (Top right corner).
3 - Click on Account.
4 - Under the Security and Privacy option, click on Manage access and devices.
5 - Select the device name: (it may be called SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box).
6 - Select--> click on the "Sign out" option on the SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box.
7 - Go to your SkyQ box and launch the Netflix app on your SkyQ box.

Interestingly Netflix was working ok with my last internet service provider (Onestream) who were useless in so many other ways though. Now I have moved across to sky broadband it has been far more of a problem whereby I'm having the red spinning circle if death a lot more oftenš¤·

Through WiFi or ethernet cable? If WiFi is the router in the same room?

It's working again as per usual I didn't do anything to resolve the issue. I wonder if it was high volume trying to watch the channel.

Doubt it. Netflix has a massively scalable architecture.
unless the sky customisations introduce a step in front of all that.

Do we have an update for this? Nearly a yesr and this is still not fixed? Why am I paying for a service that I cannot use

I have tried everything to get Netflix working on Sky Q.
After contacting Sky and Netflix numerous times, ended up with Netflix not recognising password on all devices after being logged out on all devices.
Netflix seem to have sorted this, SkyQ is still the same, Spinning Circle.
Netflix now tell me to contact Sky
Sky send me bacj to Netflix

Posted by a Sky employeeHi all,
I wanted to confirm we are still monitoring reports of the Red Spinning Circle on launch. It's clear from comments and traffic to this thread the issue can be rather intermittent for most people.
To make it easier for me to collect your examples I've renamed the thread to 'Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch' and moving forward can you please fill in this form with your examples?

Honestly this issue is a joke, one day Netflix works through sky q next day it doesn't š¤·āāļø
Netflix red ring of death I've called it.
I have reset everything and still no joy.
wifi, reboot, reset, nothing works
I just works when it wants to š¤š¤
sometimes it will go to the user screen straight away
sometimes it takes from a few seconds to a couple of minutes, sometimes hours. I just give up with it and stick Amazon on instead.
