Re: Netflix Won't Load / Spinning Circle

@Chodley

When you went into the "manage devices and access" menu on your laptop, did you force a "Sign Out" on every device in the list?

Yes I did this.. Made no difference..

What do you mean by "you are unable to use it on your TV as it's through Sky?" Assuming the TV does have a Netflix app, just login with the same credentials you used on the laptop.

The TV does not have a Netflix App..

We all know it's a Sky Q issue. I am asking if it works on your TV because if it does, I would just use that and not suffer all the clear frustration the Q app is giving you and so many others.

I understand.. Wish my TV did have the App but unfortunately it doesn't.

Thanks for your help and advice - you are doing a great job..  😃

Seems to me there's more than one root cause issue here which show the same symptoms.

Only other thing worth considering is investing in a Fire Stick (£35 for HD,  59 for UHD) but it means giving yet more data to Amazon for them to target you 🙂

Netflix not moving from spinning red circle

I have seen other threads last year about Netflix not loading. I have followed the reset instructions and logging on to Netflix and turning off the Test Participation. They have not worked and I still have trouble loading Netflix.
What else can I do?

Have you done the other suggested fix, as in the answer post on the main thread on this?

Re: Netflix Won't Load / Spinning Circle

I give up on trying to load Netflix using sky Q remote i just grab the tv remote hit the Netflix button and boom I'm in.

i dont do Netflix with sky i pay independently. But feel sorry for people who have netflix & sky together as a subscription.... i thought mine wouldn't load because I'm not doing it through sky ... anyway enough waffling... just do it through your tv get on the app there and make sure your app from your tv is connected to ur wifi and its happy days all the way doesnt fail.

Hope this helps!!

It doesn't matter whether you pay direct or through Sky, you can use the App on either the TV or the Q box. Some people however get a bit snotty about having to use the TV app, despite it usually being a better quality picture anyway.

If that's in reply to me then I realise that, perhaps you've misread my post?

And why the forum (like every other forum in the universe) should do it automatically or at least include a link back to the quoted post.

Well yeah that's what I've been telling people for months 🙂

Have you tried the potential fixes like forcing signing out your Sky box using "manage access and devices"?
