I have this problem, spoke to sky and carried out all the fixes including factory reset which didnt work, sky are replacing my q box

Which probably also won't work and you'll have lost all your recordings.

 

I guess the factory reset did for those anyway.

yep, not so fussed about recordings but was just looking for info on here on how to recover purchases (films). Will post when new box up and running and see if it works.

It sounds like you spoke to someone who didn't have a clue TBH. I suspect their bosses won't be happy at them costing them a new Q box.

Netflix will not work just wheel spinning on screen

  • I am a sky vip customer and i have sky signature  but cannot get netflix to work. I go to netflix on my tv press to conect but all it does is show a spinning cog wheel and never loads .

I have amazon prime now and now with itvx  doing streaming and box sets I dont see the point of signature anymore.
