Hard disk error

My sky hard drive says error and I can't get into anything just a blue screen with hard drive error

Have you tried a full reboot? Turn the box off at the wall for a minute then power back on and see if that kicks it back into life. If not you'll need to contact Sky and ask for a replacement. You'll lose all your recordings I'm afraid.
