My Sky app not loading on iPad

My Sky app on my iPad won't load - just keeps buffering 

I've tried deleting the app & reloading it & switching off my iPad & turning back on & still won't load just buffering

My Sky app is working on my iPhone

so any ideas

I've raised this with the support team for them to investigate.

 

In the meantime, I’ll mark this post as the answer and share updates where possible.

 

While this is being investigated, it's worth checking your device is running iPadOS 15.4 or later and that you have the latest version of the My Sky app installed.

 

You might also want to share the problems you're experiencing by sending an email to apps@sky.uk.

If you are on a Wi-Fi connection then try rebooting your broadband hub at the mains.

Didn't work

as I said it's working on iPhone but not on my iPad

On your iPad are you using anything like a VPN or the private relay function ?

I have the same issue. My sky app working on iPhone but not working on iPad. All other apps working on iPad. It must be a sky app issue because I have done nothing to my iPad.

Update on iPad/my sky not working. Spoke with technical support. Having deleted app and reloaded , still not working.

Told to delete app from iPad and wait for next version of the app. I can access my information via the sky.com website, so MySky app deleted from iPad. Will use phone and sky website on iPad until further notice.

I have same problem, my sky just keeps buffering on iPad but works ok on iphone.

Same issue, Mysky just has a spinning wheel on my iPad , have tried all the recommended actions, no joy. Sky Go is working fine

Same here. My Sky not working on iPad, just spinning! Works fine on my Android mobile. Sky Go working okay on iPad and mobile.

Would I be correct in saying that your iPad operating system is iOS 17.7.10 or older and your phone is 18 or newer
