I also have this problem with my iPad. The App works on my iPhone . I have tried deleting the App and reinstalling, turned off the iPad and checked for updates of software for the iPad but still it will not work. Is the problem with Sky and if so when will it be resolved?

Don't hold your breath. I have had the issue since Oct 2025. Had 2 conversations with Sky, we will pass this on the the devlopers! Everytime I raise a comment to apps mailbox @ sky.uk all they ask for is further information. There is no more information to supply, no OS update required, the only thing that chnages is My Sky app , which regularly changes and often will change the presentation to affected iPads.
Their last 2 efforts, generous comment, results in not being able to get past the Sign On screen, "Let's get you started" [if only :-)]

Thanks, I did notice a reply from Sky dated last December- I suppose that says it all. Clearly they can't fix it. Awful service and they just raised prices!

I noticed an update to My Sky App this morning, installed with no expectations.

 

I checked the date was not 1st April, because to my surprise My Sky 10.9.2 actually worked on my 6th Generation iPad, OS 17.7.10 !!!

 

Only taken them 6 months to fix, lol

 

However as I write, while checking 3 hours later,  I see the app is currently undergoing maintenance, so my joy may be short lived!

I've just reinstalled My Sky app & unbelievably it's working on my iPad

Thanks to @NigelD for the heads up that it appears to be working

Lets hope they have solved the issue

Well that lasted a long time, after 6 months, release 10.9.2 8th April 2026, issue fixed.

 

14th April 2026, release 10.10, issue is back and just buffering.

 

Sky ... "What a bunch of clowns"

@NigelD - just checked my app & it's updated to the new version & SURPRISE SURPRISE  it's not working again 

I can't believe it after all this time they finally fix it & then a week or so later it's knackered again
