I want to login to my sky hub so that I can change the broadband width down to 2.4 GHz so I can activate my smart plugs

You would just need to seperate 2.4 and 5ghz

- Log onto router and go to wifi
- Go to 5ghz band and untick synchronise 2.4ghz and 5ghz
- Go to 5ghz ssid and add -5g at the end
- Save
- Go to individual devices and assign wifi band accordingly

So you can still use both

@Naughtycorner  You don't change it down to 2.4ghz, you just need to split the bands as per this, it is best to do this using an ethernet connected device.

• Type 192.168.0.1 into your browser.
• Select the WiFi tab
• Enter the login details that apply to your Sky Hub
  • see the image below - your username and password are case sensitive
• Scroll down and untick the ‘Synchronise 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Settings’ box
• To help identify the two WiFi bands, edit one of the SSID's to make it identifiable
  • for example, SKYXXXXX5GHz
  • each WiFi band has its own sub-menu where you can make the change
  • If you make this change, your hub will generate two SSID's and each device will need to be reconnected to whichever changes have been made to.
• Select Apply
  
  • your Sky Hub may take a few minutes to restart

I must be really stupid I've typed the number in 192.168.0.1 but can't find anything to login as Wi-Fi I just got a page that does nothing please help I'm going crazy

What error are you getting?

Are typing it into the search bar or address bar

Can you try a different browser and maybe using an etherneted device

 Sorry, was using Google search bar didn’t realise I had to go into Safari.

I’ve gone onto Safari typed in the number got the login for 192.168.0.1 but where do I find my username and password now

@NaughtycornerSafari and the router settings on the router do not play well. You would be better trying another browser in order to access them.

My username and password off the back of the hub don't log me into the WiFi page, neither does my sky account details. Why???

@completelocksThe username to login on the router is " admin " and the password if your router is the first or second in the link below is " sky ", both of these are without the quotes. If you have the third router in the link below it will be your Wi-Fi password that will enable you to login to the router.
