Disable SIP-ALG

Good Afternoon can I be added to this please as I have the same issue, my VOIP phone does not work and my VOIP provider has told me it is down to the SIP ALG being enable, it used to work fine with the white hun

You need to ring Sky, some know about it some don't, I'm sure by now they will have had plenty of calls. You need ask them to disable the SIP-ALG. The request will be sent to the technicians and they normally have it sorted within 72hrs I think mine ended up being 48hrs.

I need to disable SIP-ALG on my Sky Hub Max to ensure there's no issues with VOIP.

There doesnt seem to be an option for this to be disabled on the user side. Can I please have some assistance

I spoke on the phone to the technical team who insisted SIP ALG can not be turned off.

Please can you arrange SIP ALG to be turned off for my router.

@1GezB you are not talking to Sky by pisting in the forum. My understanding is there is no way to switch off SIP-ALG on thecwhite Sky hubs as you have been told. Your option therefore if your VOIP service wont connect is to usexa third party router.

I am aware but if you look through this thread it seems messages can be escalated from here to a team at Sky who can change the setting.

Thanks. Sky confirmed that their routers do not offer the ability to Disable SIP-ALG. 

Solution was to purchase a router that did.

Replaced and all seems to be working fine now.

You cannot Disable SIP-ALG on Sky white routers.
