We have UHD/HLG with iPlayer. They got there in the end.
Version 25.17.12.0 by the way. 15:30 build.
What does it show in the Screen Layout Resolutions ?
My V2 box on the same build isn't showing any UHD content and the System info only lists 1920 x 1080

hmmm this info may be a red herring - I just checked the same on the TV native app which does show UHD/HGDR and in the info panel it lists as 1280 x 720 (which it isn't)

Afraid it looks like the V2 boxes are not capable of iPlayer UHD @nigea99

I think that is the base resolution. My TV goes into HLG mode and triggers rec.2020 which is Wide Colour Gamut. Dynasties(attenborough doc) is looking fantastic. The program tiles have the UHD tag as my image further back in the thread.

It is beginning to look that way or that they are just not catering for them
Doesn't affect me personally as I use the iPlayer app on the TV, but I am sure it might some V2 box owners
Hopefully it is something they can & will address for those that want it

Funnily enough I'm also watching Dynasties (elephant ) and it does look good in uhd-hlg/hdr 😉

First thing I double checked - as we have discovered it does seem to be a V2 vs v3 box thing currently

Are there any UHD TV's that support HLG that would not be able to play UHD/HDR from iPlayer? I would think the chances of that are very slim and they'd also have to have a v2 box.

It's nothing to do with TV's @LGUser
Simple fact that the V2 2TB box is not currently compatible with the iPlayer UHD App

What happens if you run iPlayer on a v2 box (in 1080i) and select a program that's available in UHD?

As the V2 box cannot see the iPlayer UHD it's irrelevant @LGUser

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI sent feedback on Friday to bbc.in/uhd stating that the Sky Q iPlayer app was not working on my V3 TITAN. Don't know if that prompted them to fix it. I also gave feedback via the BBC online help pages.
