Virgin media broadband appears to be back up, but the Sky Q box is unable to confirm an Internet connection (it's connected by Ethernet cable to the Virgin Media router). The mini box is also rendered useless as it can't seem to connect to the activation server, so this is probably a routing issue that Virgin Media have to resolve.
We're in the London borough of Sutton.

Here we go again
Virgin BB was down this morning completely but came back on about 8am for me and been working from home fine all day.
Sky boxes have reverted to the same issue we had a week or so ago , where BB is up , except for Sky boxes it seems .

Virgin has been having another meltdown over the last hour, some services or websites are fine but others aren't working. There are thousands of reports on Downdetector, separate to this morning's incident.

Have you had BB outages today? There have been widespread issues over the last 24 hours or so ( I think I recall an email from them advising 'work in your area' around this time) . Several work colleagues all had issues this morning in the South East so definitely doing 'something'

This is happening to me again this afternoon. All other devices connected and using Internet but sky glass says there's a problem.

Do you reckon it's a deliberate ploy to get customers to switch from Sky Stream to Virgin Stream???

I have the same issue, sky glass won't connect via virgin router, connect to BT router and all is fine so issues is virgin.
