I still cannot make the Sky Go app work on my Lenovo (windows 10 64 bit) but I had an inspired moment and tried it on my smaller HP tablet (Spectre x2 detachable) which runs on Windows 10 Home and with a 64 bit OS - and guess what? The installation and the damn app works! No problem at all. I totally don't get it and this is a compete farce but at least I got it to work on ONE of my laptops so that's something. Just thought I let you all know how random this seems to be!!

Another unhappy Sky user . App works fine on my phone and PS4 but not on my laptop. Itjust loads to a blank screen, Is there any real Desktop tema in Sky I can talk to , as I cant face spending an hour talking to somebody who just wants me to reboot the pc and reinstall it again ?
Its like Skydont want people to really use this , as it wont even work on Firefox / Chrome.....

They admitted they mucked up and dont know how to fix it to me.
Obvious compensation is due, make sure you all get it

It's been said that the problems with Sky Go could be due to your A/V software. So try excluding all of the files in "AppData > Local > Cisco", "AppData > LocalLow > Cisco", and "AppData > Roaming. > Sky Go" and see if Sky Go then works. If Sky Go does not work, try safe mode with networking and see if Sky Go works. If Sky Go does work in safe mode, try stopping everything from running that runs at startup one at a tiome until Sky Go works,

After seeing this reply, I went to control panel and uninstalled the CISCO videoguard and now everything is working OK. Didn't do anything else

It was reinstalled by Sky Go.

Have had the exact same problem (on mac). Spent 2 hour and 3 hour stints on sky's service support chat assistant, whilst simultaneously being on hold for +1hour without any answer. So frustrating! ...and so unhelpful!

I'm Glad I'm not the only one.
What are we paying for.
I can't run sky go on my PC either.
I get the message "Installation Failed to complete in a timely mannor"
It just WON'T WORK.
COME ON SKY GET YOU FINGER OUT!

Follow the instructions here, you can ignore the bit about the time and date. After you have done that make sure anything Sky related is uninstalled from your PC and do a reboot before installing the app again.

That error of installing in a timely manner is easily fixed by installing as admin and then running as admin.

I HAve Tried EVERYTHING and the SKY GO App just refuses to work.
