Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)

I'm just saying those are the only 2 ad providers and the problem occurs when switching between ads (every 29/49 seconds if the ad is 30 seconds long or every 14 seconds if 15 seconds long)

I never said it is directly their fault only that this is when the problem occurs... I do apologise if I offended you by suggesting it's the ads causing the problems.... are they paying you shoot down anyone's opinion that may indicate these 2 companies? 🤔

I'm just trying to clarify what you're saying in the hope we can find solutions. I'm not being paid.

I'm still not quite following what you mean by the two ad providers though, can you clarify please?

Same issue here today watching episode 4 of 1923.  Adverts getting stuck at either 31 seconds or 61 seconds.  Try again starts a new episode and watching on my iPhone works.  Just a problem streaming on Sky glass.  Been driving me round the bend this evening so was at least grateful to find this thread.  Should have checked earlier !

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)

Just that the adverts are only p plus ads or sky ads, this means they are the only 2 companies providing the ads. Thats not to say these companies are streaming those ads at the time we see them just that is who they are provided by. Also I'm not saying it's directly their fault just that the problem/issue arises during the switch between ads and in no particular order (p plus - p plus, sky - p plus, p plus - sky etc)

has anyone tried a factory reset on their sky glass or Q box?

@Jonno210 thanks for clarifying. My Paramount+ is working correctly, and the ads I'm getting are quite varied. From comfort fabric conditioner to Vodafone broadband with a few Paramount ads but no Sky ads so far for me. I wonder if other people experiencing this problem are only seeing ads for Paramount or Sky too? Perhaps there's an encoding issue with one of those ads...

Re: Paramount +

Mine is doing the same as well as not being able to resume the next time I return to continue watching (freezing instead). Shows error code 3005 but system check shows my internet, equipment and WiFi are all ok

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)

I've tried the usual troubleshooting steps.

Refresh apps, restart sky stream.

I don't really want to fully factory reset and lose my watchlist.

Sadly Paramount Plus is still unwatchable.. breaking on pretty much every advert break.

I'm hoping they find a fix to this soon.

Surely if it's unusable for any length of time we're entitled to some form of compensation..

Tbh this was a fear of myn moving to all streaming.

When it works it's great and there's a lot more variety.. but Freesat never randomly paused on me mid program

As it seems so many people are experiencing this I would hope everyone will lodge a formal complaint with Sky, otherwise our issues will remain ignored.  I am sure many others are experiencing this problem who don't use the community forum.  Good luck everyone!

Re: Paramount +

A Sky Stream Puck- small sky device to stream sky through my smart tvs (Samsung and LG).

I'm constantly rebooting sky, resetting apps, rebooting tv and now rebooting my router has made no difference. Just seems to be getting worse
