I had it and now have the same with episode 6. This is really annoying as that is now to episodes back to back.

So last week I missed the episode due to it blacking out and only having sound. This week exactly the same thing at exactly the same time,up to the first ad break! This has not been fix and now I can't even get onto my sky account as it won't except my postcode!!! All the money we pay every month to sky and the service is shocking atm.

No picture

Sky Atlantic Chicago PD. Problem continue with no picture  Series 12 episode 5 and 6 .  Picture there until about 15 minutes into programme.  Advertisements have picture

Hey guys,

 

I've been having the same issue. I spoke to sky  they gave me uhd pack for free for two months. Once they have done that search for Chicago pd and you'll see a setting symbol above the episode select UHD and it works. I would suggest doing this as they have no idea when or if it will be fixed as it's a broadcaster issue.

Same, it's really disappointing as me and my husband really enjoy the series but because of work cannot watch it at the viewing time ! Maybe if they repeat it at another time slot that may help

@EC12   Have you tried a reset.  Go to Settings, System management and select Reset (not Factory reset) or just unplug from the power wait a minute or so and turn back on.

Sky Glass black screen with sound Chicago P.D SKY WITNESS

For two weeks Chicago P.D. On Sky Witness playing  from Playlist screen goes black with sound after second ad break ( I fast forward ads I'm , supposed to have ad free viewing but when I fast forward it tells me I don't have this service. 
Also RTE ONE glitching , Virgin Media One 

has been having problems too

We customers think it's Prime Video causing the issue so try logging out of that app and restarting the TV. It seems to stop it from happening unless you sign back into Prime and forget to log out. 

 

We are awaiting a fix. Been nearly two months since I first raised it with Sky.

@Gavin+Noble i don't think its related to the issue you are referencing. Its related to another issue with the HD only version of Chicago PD episodes having an issue on Sky Stream and Sky Glass only.

 

@Rosalexismc Take a look at this thread https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/What-s-On/Chicago-pd-s12-e5/m-p/5005437#M156565. The current workaround  whilst Sky try and fix the issue is to watch them via Sky Go where the episodes are working correctly.

@MarkGoldsmith Sorry to disagree with you but it did sound exactly like the issue I highlighted with the screen going black with sound. It happened regularly to those of us affected when watching Playlist, Continue Watching, live TV or via an app until we stumbled across the Prime Video workaround.

Because it's a different file. The version that downloads to Sky+HD/Sky Q works too.

Except there is a known issue and big thread specifically for issues with the picture going in the middle of the latest 2 episodes of Chicago PD on Sky Stream and Sky Glass and the OP specifically mentions this issue with Chicago PD.
