I have just raised a complaint as well. This is really appalling service from Sky.

Just tried watching the new episode S12E06 tonight and the same problem as last week. After the first ad break, no picture, just the audio. What exactly are Sky doing? It's been a week,  episode 5 is still not fixed on Sky Puck and now it's  happening with another episode. I'm paying money every month, only to have and watch this on my phone/tablet. 

It's beyond a joke now and im seriously frustrated and unimpressed by the lack of communication and zero progress in fixing this issue. 

 

I will be making a formal complaint, as they've had plenty of time to try and fix the problem.

Same issue here and now it's happened on the next episode, everything else works fine but stranger just this program.. 

 

anyone came up with a fix?

It's disappointing to read that episode 6 is the same. 

I urge everyone to email ViewerR@sky.uk and let them know of the issue with timestamps and the version/model of your TV, box or Puck.

Episode 6 seems fine on the satellite platform.

Episode 5 is still not fixed and now as the reports show in this thread, episode 6 is doing exactly the same.

 

it is the HD version that has the problem, the UHD version is fine for both episodes.

The problem occurs for both episodes at around 17 minutes into the episode, when the screen goes black, but the audio plays.

 

All we can do is once again send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report the current episode failing and the newer version is having the same error.

Chicago PD series 12 ep 6

Anybody else having the same problem with this episode that they had with episode 5. Watched 15 mins, and then the ads came on and now the screen is black again

Firstly, thank you for highlighting this problem and I want to also thank @lettice for tagging us.

 

I understand how disappointing it is, to think that the problem has been fixed, for it not to be. I'm sincerely sorry about both episodes. Our technical teams continue to work on the faults and soon as they come back to me, I will let you all know.

 

I'm going to mark this post as the current answer, so that everyone has the most up-to-date information.

Same thing for me chicago pd episodes 5 & 6 season 12. Even after rebooting my sky glass etc still no difference but can confirm works absolutely perfect through Sky Go app.

Sky witness goes black

Last 2 episodes of chicago pd on sky witness work perfectly fine till after the first ad break then it's just a black screen but can still hear the audio anybody else had this thanks in advance
