@JC121 Read the post marked as the answer on this thread which is the latest update from Sky.

The workaround is to watch the episode via Sky Go which works without issues.

This has happened to me on episode 5 and now 6. Very frustrating. I think it's been since the Sky update for the app on the tv.  When will it be fixed?

It's a known issue under investigation. Nothing you can do to fix it. Works on Sky Go if that helps.

Every time we watch Chicago PD on Sky Witness the screen goes black after the second set of adverts. The audio is fine but no visuals. It only happens with this programme!

Well I'm in the same boat 

2 weeks in a row straight after the first ad break.  I don't pay for ads skipping so it's not related to that. 

I've just tried the sign out of Amazon and restart made no difference whatsoever. To be honest, the Chicago franchise is now one of the last few things that I watch on sky. 

This is just another nail in the reasons to leave sky altogether coffin. It's getting closer

Watching chiacago pd season 12 episode 6 and previous episode 5, was all good then boom second advert and episode continues with the screen black but can hear the episode in the back playing along last 2 episodes this has done the same.

This also started for us this week on our Sky Stream. Watching Chicago PD episode 5 and part way through, the adverts kick in, then when the show returns, the screen is blank but we have sound.... we tried everything but still the same. Just started the next episode & the same occurs after the 1st ad break.

We have reset the puck etc.. but nothing is resolving the issue.

please can someone advise?

Guess what folks it's happened again with episode 6 right after the first ad break. I know this should be reported to sky but from previous post , I just don't see the point!

I'm having the same problem. But it only seems to happen on Chicago PD. This happened on episodes 5 & 6. The adverts still show OK during the programme.

This has already been reported on here multipke times so as you can see from the post marked as the answer Sky are aware.

It is working on Sky Go if that helps.
