It's getting ridiculous now. You can't delete on Sky Stream Puck, yes you can remove Chicago PD from your playlist, but adding it back on does not fix the damaged episode. Also, I'm not impressed with the poor communication from Sky or their inability to fix the issue for those with Sky Stream. I'm disabled and actually hurt myself trying to check my HDMI lead and resetting my Puck and in the end had to watch the episode on my Samsung tablet, which I shouldn't have to do, as I pay to use the Puck. I'm unable to enjoy my favourite show due to a problem on their end which is still unsolved 4 days later.  It leaves me wondering, how many times will this happen in the future and what exactly is Sky going to do about it.

The advice about fully deleting the episode only applies to Sky Q, as it records/downloads to the hard drive the broken episode will remain on the box even if/when Sky make the corrected version available to download.

 

Sky Glass/Stream will use whatever version is uploaded by Sky so as soon as they fix the problem, it will work on those platforms without the viewer having to do anything.

Just downloaded this episode on Sky+HD Box and it plays ok.

It's a very dark picture throughout the episode though.

Not happy to hear that everyone is still having problems with the episode. I emailed them and they responded on Sunday to say the problem had been resolved. Clearly not. This isn't my first issue with Sky since signing up to a 2 year contract and can safely say I will be going back to my previous supplier as soon as I can.

I will try the episode again tonight and, if it's still not playing properly, it will be another unsatisfied email of complaint.

Hi everyone, I still have no picture on this episode, just audio, it's a nightmare. I had a few emails back from Sky Saturday and yesterday saying it was fixed, and what to do, but they were wrong, it hadn't been fixed, and since I pointed this out to them, its been radio silence. Where can I complain to please? I was really enjoying the episode too. Sky glass user 😢

Also had the same issue - I am a new Sky Stream user and not impressed with this at all. I emailed viewer relations - their response was to remove from my playlist and use 'On demand' but all I get is 'continue watching' on the epsiode which is still a problem. Where is the on demand function?! Surely on Sky Stream, regardless of whether it's on your playlist or not, it's the same epsiode? 

 

Am I missing something as how else can I watch an epsiode which I've already started watching, regardless of whether it's removed from my playlist or not? I'm still taken to the same episode with the same issue. It's so disappointing.

My guess is they've fixed the satellite On Demand version but not the Stream/Glass version.

Sky Stream, video off from middle of show

Was watching a show on sky witness. 18mins into the show, that is after ads, picture vanished, went on blank screen. Tried fast forwarding, changed shows and came back to the video problem one. Still no image, just audio playing. Switched off modem and puck, but issue persistent. Even restarted the show and didn't skip ads.

I just tried. I still have the same issue on Sky Stream. I had another email from viewer relations saying that it's definitely fixed and they gave me a number to call to speak to their technical team.

 

I don't think it's my TV as I've done everything they said to do, but as I've watched a quarter of the episode, no matter what I try, I get taken back to the same episode with the same issue. Even if I restart from the beginning. So they haven't 'fixed it' - not for me. 

I don't need a technical team, I need the complaints team, I keep getting fobbed off that it's fixed and it isn't with no explanation as to how to get it to work on Sky stream.


I'm really fed up with this now 😔

I also have just tried again but nothing has changed. Apparently you cannot download Sky Go on to your tv???? So will be ringing Sky tomorrow as. I spoke to a lady on Sunday and she said just keep trying it each day but this is terrible customer service from a worldwide organisation which is upping its prices for me  (renewal at end of this month for me looking to tie me in to 24 month contract - I am sure it's the same for everyone)  so will not be renewing unless something major is offered. Oh to be able to speak to human beings about issues with our contracts which we are paying for ,yet you nearly have the impression the problem is ours not theirs!!!!

That would be a waste of time as they would know as much as you do and might trot out the usual "it was be fixed in xx hours line" so you would be better of registering a complaint:
