It seems to work OK on Sky Go but the video and audio quality are awful compared to Sky Stream on the TV.
I reported it to VR but I have received nothing but an automated acknowledgement.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Chicago pd blank screen

Hi we were watching Chicago od then after the break the screen is blank and you can only hear sound. I've done all what the internet tells me to turn the telly and puck off I've done all this and still doesn't work! Help!

It is likely a problem with the episode and will need fixing sky's side. The best course of action would be to email skys viewer relations team (viewerR@sky.uk) who will investigate and feedback.

Noticed this morning it is still not fixed.

 

I have flagged the issue in our Superusers closed community area to alert to Sky.

Not sure why this has yet to be picked up by VR also.

I am being told by the VR people that this issue is fixed and that it needs removing from your playing and adding from on demand but I am still getting the issue

Have you also deleted the faulty episode from your deleted folder as usually you will need to do this before you can download a fresh copy.

I had the same email too from VR just recently.


On Sky Stream, you cannot remove it from anywhere. You just play it from your playlist, on demand link or continue rail.

I have also restarted my pucks.

It is still not fixed for me.

I was told to remove it from my playlist, but on Sky Stream, everything is on stream, so there is no on-demand as such. I got around this by adding UHD free for two months and watching in UHD.

Also had an email saying it was fixed and I should now be able to watch it but still not getting past second ads. Have emailed VR again.

I received an email from VR this moring saying "This was highlighted to the relevant team on Saturday 31st May, we are happy to advise this issue has been resolved.". I replied to the email telling them it is still broken.
I wonder if they bother testing it on the Sky Stream or Sky Glass platform before declaring it has been fixed.
It is still broken on Sky Stream this evening.

Just tried watching this episode and get the same issues after the first ad break at around 18 minutes. There is no where on the app or the website to raise this issue and the email responses from VR clearly do not resolve the problem. Do SKY monitor this forum as the help page directed me to look the issue up here?

Same update here. Got a reply that it was fixed. Still not working. 

 

I want to try the app on a tablet but this requires me charging my tablet and installing the app so not had chance yet.
