There was an outage skys side and a number of threads on the community re this. Service seems to have been restored for some users, but it may be intermittent.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. 
However after following a suggestion to reboot the puck I now do not have a tv guide icon nor the Channel list bar next to this. if I speak "tv guide" into the remote I see the word "favourites" but no list of programmes so I can't even get onto live tv to check.

@Brooke111 Sky help has MAJOR TV issue all over it at present, they are looking into it!

Same here, no tv guide , just disappeared.  Nothing wrong with Internet speed etc as apps work and my other devices.  Rebooted done, and all your usual nonsense you gotta do to refresh everything and nothing.  If not resolved by tomorrow,  then sky is having my anguish.

Yes the issue seems to be ongoing. Service is intermittent.
