Sky stream not working

TV guide not loading, channels not loading before that. Sky sports not either.  

 

With all these issues, will sky be offering any sort of refund or compensation or are we expected to fork out still with nothing short of an apology?

Same here, Sky Stream has been glitchy as hell for several months now.

Hi @Brookey 

 

There was an outage skys side and a number of threads on the community re this. Service seems to have been restored now.

 

If it's not try rebooting.

It's all very inconvenient and frustrating but hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later. I think this is the third recent outage

Exactly the same problem here. Only turned it on to watch one show and it won't work. I've missed it live now. Extremely poor service from sky all round. Very expensive subscriptions, and it doesn't even work.  I constantly have to reboot the stream device. I'm not at all happy.

We had a bumpy ride for a few days with Stream when we switched last year however it settled great and never had any issues until today.

Initially I regretted it, now I love it! Looks like it's down for everyone.

Rebooted numerous times. Nothing. It's not good saying it's been rebooted and fixed, when it's happening more and more regularly and we get nothing back from Sky.

There a probem with Sky Steam at the moment

I am able to watch Game of Thones atm but it looks like its playing the Watch from start videos becuse of the outage so why no Ad skpping button on them, Sky has switched them so you can still watch some programs on demand, you can see the Watch from start button on the bottom left of the screen and why you have to go back to the menu to play next epesode.
I understand now... 🙂

I am not a Sky Engineer but at one time wanted to be one or a BT Engineer... 🙂

I like working things out like its a puzzle... 🙂

I was a PC Engineer and fix peoples PCs by going to there house, Windows XP was known to slow down PCs over time and clog up the PCs RAM and its start-up and had to reinstall it for the customer, the only way you could fix WinXP.

It's an ongoing incident..I like you are a fellow customer. Many people are saying service is being restored and I now have TV guide myself.

Same issue lost bbc1 c4 and some others. Rebooted loads of times EPG then disappeared, managed to get that back but still missing channels. Hopefully, will be back tomorrow.

Menu for live tv has disappeared.

Well, just now I turned my puck on and at first I found that the channels were not loading, so I reset it, then the menu had disappeared, so I pulled the power jack out for 30 seconds, put it back and started the puck, still no menu.

 

Then I let it sit idle, so it started going through adverts of shows like it always does, then I picked up the remote and went to have a look again and the menu is back, but channels are still not loading.

 

Please help.
