Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

I had the problem earlier in the week with the picture freezing and then speeding up to catch up with the sound, but it has been okay so far today on both the F1 and ME UHD channels.  I wonder if it is caused by bottlenecks in Sky's content distribution network which varies depending on load.

only been working properly in the last hour when the ad breaks were on.

@WAKEYGA Agree. It's been months. Sky really need to find a fix for the issue. Hoping at some stage Sky/Comcast will sort

I've noticed mine getting worse recently. I thought the Man Utd/Everton game was particularly bad. I am starting to regret changing from Q to Stream. Never had these problems before.

I've been having this issue since I had Sky stream. Always happens with the UHD channel . Hopefully an update is incoming as it's difficult to watch when it's like this

100% this. The issue lies within the server based infrastructure of SkyOS & whichever server you are connected to. The routing via each individual customer's ISP also affects how well you receive high bandwidth UHD live channels. 
Some customers have few issues, others have lots of issues.

There's simply no way for Sky to guarantee that every customer will get a fault free service. There are too many variables in play. 
If you can't get it to function well enough, just cancel and use NOW instead. It has far fewer issues with live UHD streaming as it's using a more direct stream which your streaming device can buffer and maintain more easily than SkyOS can.

@GD1 I am referring to Comcast I have had issues with sky Q 18 months prior to getting sky glass gen 1 the day it was released, sold that after 4/5 replacements and continuous issues, left and went to virgin couldn't handle the interface so returned but used virgin internet and then sky just blamed everything on there internet Gigfast. I returned to sky broadband and more issues. It has to be issues on the tv side as looks as though no matter the provider same result

  Interesting I have just swapped my puck on my main tv with a newer virtually unused one from the spare room , and sky f1 uhd is on channel 902 whilst on my older one , used until now ,  it's on 407 and as of this moment 07:41am) it's working perfectly altho I guess the load in the servers us fairly low ..

Thank you. I'm glad it's not just me. Try to raise it with sky and after answering all the questions it says "this isn't your sky stream this is likely a temporary issue with the channel" or something like that... I guess I'll give HD a go over UHD and see if there's any difference. Yesterday I ended up having Sky go on my laptop and used a HDMI to connect to my TV! No issues with that but such a faff

@PHardy1001  Out of curiosity but does a restart of your hub help with these issues?  is that something you've tried?

It's obviously getting worse this issue .Issues have been occurring for months on the latency channel and then recently on other channels like the F1 etc as we see

Let's hope that they can sort it out once and for all

Tried restart of hub, refresh but still occuring on UHD channels. Watched Fulham yesterday on 402 and everything was fine.
