Same here I tried on both my Stream Puks and the playback skipped at exactly the same points on both of them for the first part of the race I bothered to try and watch. Watched the highlights on channel 4 in the end as it was getting too annoying missing 20 secs or do every minute.
This first happened to me during the British GP months ago, this really needs sorting out.

Yet another GP totally ruined.
Skipped just before 'lights out and away we go' to several corners later. Annoying but no worries, they are showing a replay of the start... f$*! me if it didn't skip again.... had to go on to YouTube to see what happened at the start. 🤦♂️🤬 **bleep** am I paying this price for?
Lost count of how many of these races have been affected this year.
No responses from Sky.
No fixes.
If there was ever a way that a corporation wanted to make the customers feel that that they couldn't give a flying **** about them - you nailed this one Sky.
I just don't understand how they can get a streaming service to bloody wrong.
It was hard enough to swallow that the streaming service doesn't allow watch on demand or any of the other many crap things that we have to put up with with Stream, especially compared to competitors, but this is taking the biscuit.
The only damn reason I am with Sky is to watch the F1, now I am realising the only reliable way to do that is to put a bloody dish on the wall of my house and pay even more. 😠

Posted by a Sky employeeHi Everyone
Thank you so much for bringing this problem to our attention, and I'm really sorry about the problem.
We've escalated the problem to our Support teams for investigation and as soon as we have an update, we will let you all know.
I've marked this post as answered, so that the most up-to-date information is available quickly. This doesn't mean that the issue is resolved.
Just so you know, I've merged two threads together, so some posts might look a bit out of order.

Problems continuing for me. Live streaming a premier league match on Sunday, lots of pixellation and picture breakup (but no skipping). Picture lost completely just before half time. Rebooted the puck. Fine after that even on UHD. Maddening!
Still skipping on playlist. Even stranger, playlist recordings from TNT via the Sky Stream box seem OK. Still monitoring.
Don't see the point in talking to Sky any more about this. So many people seem to be having similar problems, they must be aware.
Will wait and see. I don't want to cancel but, will not continue to pay for a faulty service.

I suggest calling them and asking them to move you to Sky Q, they were happy to do this for me, so hopefully once that has been installed this nightmare will be over. Really poor of Sky to continue to push this rubbish product!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Does Sky Q need a dish?
Dish is not an option for me in a Grade 2 listed cottage in a Conservation area.
Broadband or nothing for me.
Thanks again

Yes, same happening to me and not for the first time. Trying to watch on playlist and it is skipping every 30 seconds. I'm also going to watch the highlights on Channel 4.
Very poor and I do not understand why they cannot resolve this. This first occurred in July!

@KevNewMedia your post gives the impression that Sky have only just become aware of this issue however let's be 100% clear here to all that come across this thread, Sky are fully aware of the issue and have been for some time. It has been an issue since the last F1 season a year ago, as confirmed to me by a Sky employee who even guessed what I was calling about when I contacted Sky and started to discuss the issue many months ago!
It must really bit embarrassing for Sky to have a product called "Sky Stream" where streaming doesn't work properly - the clue is in the title! And for them to be focussing on ways to blame the issue on the customer when they know it is an issue with their product rather than pulling out all the stops to get this fixed is unforgivable and they should really look at themselves as a company for such poor service.
I've given up and cancelled my Sports package, fortunately I was on a monthly rolling contract.

@DavidFi I'm using sky stream. Where you have playlist, tv shows, movies, sport etc go sport. Then scroll down 8 times I think. Mine then has got football, formula 1, tennis, cricket etc.. click formula 1 then click down 1 and it says 'in case you missed it' and full race is underneath. Hope this helps

I received a phone call the other day from Sky and the guy said it seems to be with certain races only. Well after signing up about a month ago it's been every single one. Just put the race on to watch, and yet again skipping every 30 seconds. And all Aky can say is "we are aware of it". Well how about refunding everyone their Sky sports subscription every month till you sort it, as like many I only have Sky Sports for F1. Quite happy to take money each month, about time they gave it back. 😡

Whats strange is that previously this was affecting all customers, it now doesn't seem to be the case as i don't see the skipping on the Qatar Grand Prix. ( but i did on a couple of races earlier this season).

Given the amount of time Sky have had this issue and the effect it has had on so many customers are there plans to compensate everyone affected?

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the issue I was about to cancel and go back to the old sky system let's hope it gets fixed soon
