Stream keeps jumping forward when recording football

I've been using Sky Stream for a year now and been having this same issue for months whilst watching F1. I even bought a new HDMI cable then a new TV thinking they were the problem but still it continued. Last month I swapped up to a 65" Sky Glass TV and found that the issue is still happening, it's ridiculous. One Sky engineer said it wouldn't happen if the tv was hard wired instead of using WiFi but my location from the broadband makes a cable very difficult and what's the point of advertising this fantastic piece of technology being able to use WiFi if it just keeps having issues!?

Here we go yet again. Trying to watch Qatar grand prix from playlist and it's skipping through all the important bits. Horrendous.

Yep, it happened to me again with the Chelsea Villa game! I've sent another complaint. It's getting beyond a joke now. I'm seriously close to cancelling it

Have this exact same problem. I tried to rewind one thing to before an add break and had to sit through the entire show again. And again with replays of shows - it pauses briefly and then skips ahead by 20/30 seconds. Making content unwatchable.

Had it with Liverpool v City today, after experiencing it with Liverpool v Chelsea about a month ago.  Gave up and watched it live in the end , which meant missing 25 mins of the game.  Should've stuck with Sky Q!

I have issues streaming sky f1 after a race it's jumps and skips every few seconds and this happens on all my picks even after doing a reset

Having the exact same issue. Happened for me during the Brazil GP, but assumed it was a one off. Now watching back the Qatar GP, and it's happening again.

I've had the same happen to me again tonight afte going into my playlist but found a solution. Go into sport instead and then Qatar Grand Prix was on the top picks. Chose full race and didn't have any issue at all. Hope it helps

@Lg271 I am desparate to try your workaround but cannot find today's race in the Sport section on Sky Stream yet. Are you using Sky Stream or some other product?

I did call Sky after the last race - and after reading this forum post - the chap on the phone did not seem particularly interested in my problem. I hold no hope that it will be fixed anytime soon.

Same with me for the F1 today completely unwatchable on the playlist. Absolute waste of money paying for sky sports ended up watching highlights on Channel 4 instead. Need to bring back sky Q or something as these streaming options are shocking

Before the shows disappeared strangely, I did at least get a stopwatch out. It is exactly 30 seconds that plays before a skip. I did not try to work out how much time is skipped but I would believe it if someone told me 30 seconds. 

I am only signed up to Sky to get the F1. This is very poor.
