I can't find a record button on my remote I have a red button but it has a plus sign on it how do I get it to record something?

If you have Sky Stream or Sky Glass, the red + button adds programmes to your Playlist. Stream and Glass don't have recording capability.

Sounds like you don't have Sky+
Can yu confirm which service you have?

@Annie+UK yeah I have sky stream so the plus sign in the red circle will add the series does that mean I can watch it still later ?

Have a read all about how playlists work on Stream, in this Sky help article;
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Yes and no. It all depends on who owns the on-demands rights for that content, how long they own the rights for and perhaps if you have a subscription to that on-demand service.
On platforms like C4, ITV X and BBC IPlayer content which they license to be available on their apps have an expiry date which is typically either 30 days or 12 months depending on the content.

@MarkGoldsmith I am trying record the mancity v Copenhagen match on tnt sports which I have a subscription for has I've got go out lol

Sport usually works well particularly ones on TNT as they are usually available on discovery + afterwards so in a worse case scenario the playlist link will just take you to that.
