Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
We have been told in an update from Sky today in our closed community area this is still with Sky and Paramount working for a solution.
It is being actioned.
As per the previous answered post above,
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
I don't know if this helps, but I also experience this when logging in via a browser on my laptop.
At home, I have Sky full fibre and it works fine both via the Sky Apps on Sky Q and also directly on my Samsung TV app. Both my Sky Q box and my TV are connected by DSL to the modem.
I also have a PC at home, on DSL and it works fine on that but I did initially have error code 3005 problems but found it was being caused by ad-blocker, which I disabled for ParamountPlus and that seems to have cured it.
However at work I use my laptop and a mifi box, and despite everything being the same as my PC browser-wise I simply cannot get more then a few minutes before it jams at error code 3005. The same laptop at home, it happens if I am on wifi from my Sky Fibre modem BUT as soon as I plug a DSL cable in it works fine. Funnily enough, I experience occasional buffering issues with iPlayer when watching at work via my mifi box.
I am beginning to suspect this is something to do with wifi signal not being strong enough possibly? Or the wrong security protocol perhaps (WAP etc ).

Loads of people are having this problem including me. I reported it to Sky and they are looking into it. No tome line for it to be resolved.

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
My Sky Q box is plugged directly into router by ethernet so not a WIFI issue. Plus I've just upgraded to full fibre 300 and am getting max speed from outside and good WIFI (250 +) inside so it's definitely an issue at Sky end. Don't let them fob you off claiming WIFI.

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
Thanks for explaining your situation.
my internet is hardwired throughout the house and connected to all tv's. I've checked the connections and they are showing no issues. I therefore don't believe it's WiFi.
i also tried watching paramount + on my iPhone, same thing occurred

Paramount + not loading
Was working fine until today. When I go to the Paramount + app, the wheel keeps turning and not loading. Any suggestions?

Re: Paramount + not loading
I have seen lots of people posting this is happening on Sky Q and Sky Glass but I haven't noticed anyone saying it's happening on Stream. I know mine is freezing constantly on Sky Q but with I use my iPad, it's perfect with no crashing or errors showing at all.

I've reported too, sky just say they are aware of problem and are working with paramount but have not yet found a solution, it's ridiculous 🙄

I can give them the solution, turn off the adds because it seems 99.9% of people say that's when the crash occurs

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
I don't think you can turn the adds off without paying a fee. I don't mind watching adds . This is a known fault that needs fixing so we can all resume a normal service that we pay enough for. This is only happening on paramount+
