Tuning into channels

Having trouble setting up channels. Password was excepted then it wasn't. So changed it which worked once. Then wouldn't except when trying to tune in other channels. Can I tune into all channels at once or individually which takes ages. Is it possible for an engineer to come and sort it

Hi @Max1961x

I'm sorry your issue isn't overly clear. When you say password, what password? Do you mean WiFi? Are there any messages on screen?  Please can you give as much information as possible and the community will try to assist.

In terms of engineers, Sky do not supply engineers for Sky Glass or Stream these are self setup products.

So passwords aren't required to watch the live channels from the TV Guide. You may be asked to enter your pin on some channels pre watershed and this will be when they are showing post watershed content before the watershed on that channel.

When you are accessing the on-demand apps you would be prompted to login to that app e.g ITV X, paramount +

Sky Stream and Sky Broadband customer

Those are not "Channels" they are apps that is a huge difference. Have you actually setup accounts with these? Netflix, ITV-X etc all need accounts to use the apps.

With Netflix do you pay Sky for it?   If so have you linked your account/logged in as per the instructions here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Max1961x

There isn't an on demand section on Sky stream. Programs are within the TV Shows, Movies, Sports headings on the home screen. Live channels can be accessed via selecting TV guide.

See the video under using Sky stream here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-stream-faqs

As @GD1 has pointed out you are referring to apps, not channels. You will need to create an account for each one of these if you don't have one already (channel 4, my5 etc). It doesn't work like Sky Q where this content is available in an on-demand section.

Live tv channels are viewed through the tv guide without the need to sign into anything
