Paramount Plus keeps crashing when adverts load
Paramount Plus keeps crashing when you get to any adverts , it loads the first advert on the 90 second mark then when it gets to 61 seconds the loading circle keeps going round then decides to load the next episode of what you are watching .
Happening for every series I watch .
Gone through all the options I can , rebooting, turning WiFi router on and off , refreshing the app etc .
Im using the Sky puck . Reading other articles a lot of people are having the same issue . It sometimes comes up with Error code 3005 .
We all pay a lot of money for Sky and associated products now , you have just literally this month increased your prices stating it's for better services .
This technical issue is totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed. One could argue that this is all a ploy for us consumers to have to upgrade to get the ad-free package.
Very poor service and should be raised to a Watchdog service .

Re: Paramount Plus keeps crashing when adverts load
Yes I didn't have a paramount issue until 2 weeks ago. Feels like I'm being punished for watching so much!!

Sky Complaints have messaged me back saying they're aware of the issue and diligently trying to fix. Hmmmm been going on for weeks now so am not reassured

Thanks for reporting and updating, I'm also going to lodge a complaint and would encourage others to do the same

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
I'm not convinced anything will be done to fix this issue because Sky are not making any money from it being that it is a free add on.
My work around is to plug my phone into my TV via a HDMI cable and watch it through the app on my phone. Not ideal but it doesn't freeze!

Issue reported and is being raised at meeting with the tele handlers manager. However , unless you all report the issue on mass it sounds like it might not go further.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - everyone report issue any way you can to get them to escalate it

Re: Paramount + freezing and error codes
I had this problem, saw a thread recommending logging into paramount plus on android or apple device so I logged in on iPad for 10 mins. Went back to sky stream on tv and seems to be working again.

Re: Paramount + Freezing With Error 3005 or 9999 (Sky Q/Stream/Glass)
I've just reported it on the live chat, first they tried saying it wasn't a known fault, then when I mentioned this thread and the fact I wasn't the only one unhappy with the service I had a different response!
They confirmed that it is being investigated by the platforms team but currently no known fix. I've been given a ref number and the complaint recorded.
Everyone get complaining!! It can't make things any worse, it can only help escalate the problem.
