@Peter682 @The issue is this has been going for months. Switching to PCM and effectively losing surround sound and Dolby Atmos isn't really a fix, it's a reduction in service, whilst Sky are still charging a premium for Dolby Atmos to most customers

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jason+Golding I don't think there was a specific fix in the latest QS028 software update but I have not had any lip sync issues since I received the update. I have now reverted my audio setting back to auto.

@Fothergill1 @Let's wait and see until everyone has the new software and take stock. I am a huge fan of Sky and stream but do find it hard to swallow that this lip sync issue hasn't been resolved for many months. We aren't talking about a minor issue here. Especially as it's a paid extra service for Dolby Atmos and the 'fix' means losing this.

It sounds like the people on tv are talking under water

We are using a puck. Recently we are getting problems with the picture and sound being out of sync with each other. I've reset the puck, it's up to date but nothing works. I. Assuming that there is a problem with the puck.

This is a long standing issue with the Stream puck. Change your audio output to PCM Stereo or passthrough - this should help until Sky push out a software update.

I just looked at this thread you linked to out of curiosity. Is this something that only happens on sky glass then? Weird behaviour. Its like the main dialogue channel which would be the center speaker in a seperate speaker setup is switching off and the muffled sound is just the residual 5 - 10% off dialogue sound that gets fed to the L & R channels.

Indeed. There have been quite a few reports of this happening following the failure of the centre speaker on Sky Glass.

Sadly. Sky Glass is a very average tv in terms of build quality and components. It's cost is probably double what it would be if purchased on a like for like features basis with another manufacturer.

I'm finding pass through a lot better but putting it on pcm stereo doesn't work passthrough does work

Have used Sky Stream for over a year, zero issues with my 3 pucks. Since ast week all 3 suffering lip sync issues. Have tried Passthrough and PCM with limited success. Have 1gb fibre broadband so that's not the issue.
clearly some port of update rolled out which hasn't been properly tested.

Noticed today the Settings page has been revamped. Is this part of the new Entertainment OS 1.3 features being added or to do with an update to the UI version 20.285.028.06? I suspect the later.
