In what way does it not work? Are you not getting any audio? Are voices out of sync?

Re: QS025 Lip Sync Issues

Hi for anyone with lip sync issues,it is an ongoing problem sky is trying to fix,in the meantime go to settings, then sound settings and change from auto to PCM STEREO,I did this right back around 6 weeks ago and had no more issues with syncing sound with picture, works fine...oh,no soundbar etc, smart tv..

Re: QS025 Lip Sync Issues

@Peter682 @The issue is this has been going for months. Switching to PCM and effectively losing surround sound and Dolby Atmos isn't really a fix, it's a reduction in service, whilst Sky are still charging a premium for Dolby Atmos to most customers

@Anonymous  I don't think there was a specific fix in the latest QS028 software update but I have not had any lip sync issues since I received the update.  I have now reverted my audio setting back to auto.

Re: QS025 Lip Sync Issues

@Fothergill1 @Let's wait and see until everyone has the new software and take stock. I am a huge fan of Sky and stream but do find it hard to swallow that this lip sync issue hasn't been resolved for many months. We aren't talking about a minor issue here. Especially as it's a paid extra service for Dolby Atmos and the 'fix' means losing this.

Sound out of sync when using a puck

We are using a puck.  Recently we are getting problems with the picture and sound being out of sync with each other.  I've reset the puck, it's up to date but nothing works.  I. Assuming that there is a problem with the puck.

This is a long standing issue with the Stream puck. Change your audio output to PCM Stereo or passthrough - this should help until Sky push out a software update.

@Alip14  This is a known issues which sky are aware of and are working on a fix,in the mean time a workaround is to set the sound out to pcm

I just looked at this thread you linked to out of curiosity. Is this something that only happens on sky glass then? Weird behaviour. Its like the main dialogue channel which would be the center speaker in a seperate speaker setup is switching off and the muffled sound is just the residual 5 - 10% off dialogue sound that gets fed to the L & R channels.

Indeed. There have been quite a few reports of this happening following the failure of the centre speaker on Sky Glass.

Re: QS025 Lip Sync Issues

Sadly. Sky Glass is a very average tv in terms of build quality and components.  It's cost is probably double what it would be if purchased on a like for like features basis with another manufacturer.

Re: QS025 Lip Sync Issues

I'm finding pass through a lot better but putting it on pcm stereo doesn't work passthrough does work
