Purchased a film from Sky Store. Downloaded it so as to watch it away from home on a laptop. After a bit of faffing around I got the film to play, for about 5 minutes and now keeps saying "unable to play selection". The film is 90 minutes long and info says download size 2.26 Gb - no idea if this is about right. My best guess is to try and download it again (if I can). Any other suggestions very welcome.

Hi @caesarome . Thanks for reply. I have played a bit more and..... With internet on, albeit using a mobile phone as a hotspot (works well, still using it here) I managed to get the film to start from the begining and it failed in the exact same spot. I can play the trailer with no problems but that is less than 3 minutes in length.

My guess would be that your download hasn't downloaded correctly.
2.6GB sounds typical and fine for an HD movie - but if you were at home / on wifi I'd be suggesting you should delete the download from your tablet and start again.
If you have an unlimited data / enough data on your phone contract to try that where you are / then that is still an option - but on 4G could take a while.
Please don't try this if you are paying for your data by usage

@mike+simmonds Hi and thanks for reply. I think you are probably correct on download film again. It was originally downloaded via the hotspot (yes, unlimited data, and yes, it did take a while). In the next couple of days I'm back at home with a better connection, I will download again then and try it. Thanks to @mike+simmonds and @caesarome for suggestions and I will post the results of a new download. Regards

@mike+simmonds @caesarome . Just to update. Managed to download film while connected to home wi-fi but only after changing laptop settings to keep it "alive / awake" throughout the download. I think that was my problem. Again thanks for your help.
