hi gone from a full time employment including a second job to be signed off by the doctor as I'm waiting at knee operation and can't stand at work so from £500 per week wages to £116 statutory sick pay I've tried to reduce my sky bill my contract does not finish till September 2024 and I need to pay £50 to cancel sky cinema I am being charged £7 for sky kids when I have no kids in the house. Don't know why I'm paying don't remember asking for it or agreeing to it , paying some netfix boost so I can watch TV in a different room. I'm a one bedroom house with one TV don't know why Offered, I would have said no. I would've said no. Had three phone calls this morning all with brick walls can't help me can only take the sky kids off at £7 one of the customer services I spoke to was asking me if I want a phone, but I already have a contract with sky then he Asked if I knew that sky broadband dead business broadband would like to sign up for it I don't have a business again. I said I don't have a business he replied in the future. Have a give us a call. Asking if I want to upgrade my phone to iphone 14 nearly 3 hours on the phone to be told that No one can help me in my dire situation that they would rather have me pay this sky and have no electricity or food, no electricity to watch sky but they're happy to leave me skint

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you're in contract until September then Sky are not obliged to reduce any contracted items until the minimum term ends. (Basically you agreed to pay and cannot leave until then)
As you've found out there are (early) cancellation charges too.
