Wireless TV?

Hello. I am remodelling my living room and the tv and sky box will be moved to a location which is virtually impossible to reach with the leads from my satellite. Is there a way I can connect wirelessly to the satellite with my existing box? Some kind of receiver?

Sorry @Will+Roberts   SKY Q must be connected via cables.

You could consider switching to SKy Stream but it is quite different streaming everything,  and no hard disk to record on etc

Not practically @Will+Roberts .

One option would be to use a Sky Q mini box at your living room TV.

You may need to occasionally connect a TV to your main Q box.

Bear in mind that the mini will not do UHD

@Will+Roberts afraid not the box does need to be connected to the leads from the dish

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

You mean connect your Sky Q box wirelessly to the satellite dish? There's no way to do that, I'm afraid.

You could, I suppose, leave your Sky Q box where it is, and obtain a Mini box which connects wirelessly to your Sky Q box, though you'd lose UHD capability.

Or Sky Stream which doesn't require a dish connection might be an option.

@Will+RobertsYou will either have to pay to have your leads from the satellite moved or buy an satelite extension lead kit.
