Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - April 2023

I wished you would just do a proper update on the whole system.

Sky q.

Same programme and same series not grouping.

TV guide, not always loading

Still no reminder pop up to let you know a program you wanted to watch has started.

Still no proper delete all in manage hardrive. The only delete all is for a series, and even then it's not actually deleted, you got to go through the next step and delete one at a time.... Have you any idea how long that takes.

Sound volume.

Sky q is definitely quieter than it used to be, and no it's not just my hearing.

Settings are fine  (I'm a former sound engineer).

After seven years, I think it's probably safe to say Q will never get Reminders

Sky apparently regards the automated hard drive management to be sufficient.

I don't recall any indication in the Q forum that this is a recent general issue

Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - April 2023

Spoiler
I'm not sure how it's not been mentioned, surely I can't be the only person to find overall the volume output is lower.

Even the Mrs tells me, is it me or most of tonight's show been quiet ...

For sky q sound comes direct via the optical cable ... So nothing interfere with it ... And straight out the soundbar.

...

No pop ups. Yet everytime you tell the handler, it's always ... Yeah that would be good, I miss that.

....

And every user tells sky, it's not!
We definitely need better manual edit of the hd.

....
