No Internet or satellite signal

Good morning since yesterday internet keeps dropping, since last night no satellite signal. I've gone through all the suggested steps but no luck

My sky box is still switching off even after following the recommended steps. 
im now advised to do a complete reset which eill

erase all my recordings !

Has anyone else done this ?

Sky box

My sky box won't turn on with the remote I've unplugged it and left it for a bit and changed the batteries and still not working

Sky still kicking me out..

Hi, sky q box still not staying on. I have turn it all off a few times now. Still not working. In Northern Ireland.

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is re-paired it uses Infrared

I live in Surrey still experiencin problem with Sky Q box switching off but no problem with the internet. When will it be back to normal. A long wait to speak to anyone at Sky

For all those unable to update software because box is stuck in standby, you can still force an update the old fashioned way.

 

Unplug lead, hold standby button on box and reinsert lead until you get red/amber flashing light. **Please note I'm currently doing this and not sure if it wipes recordings.

 

Edit: Mine has now finished updating but still stuck in standby!!

 

Edit 2: My remote had disconnected. It switched on at the box. Fingers crossed.

Have you tried the recommended fix that Sky have mentioned for this problem;

Switch off your Sky Q box at the power socket for 30 seconds and back on again
